Lighting Design for Film & TV - BFA Production & Design for Stage & Screen

Abby Wells has been living and designing in New York City for 4 years.  She currently works for a freelance TV Production Company called Vibrant Design as a Lighting Director and draftsperson.  Through this company she has worked on many tv shows including but not limited to: Lip Sync Battle on Spike, MTV’s Wild’N Out, MTV’s New Year’s Eve Special, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore on Comedy Central, and Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular.  Still in touch with her theatre roots, Abby was the associate lighting designer for Rock of Ages at Gateway Playhouse this past summer and lighting designer for a small production called Frozen this past winter.  She has also been a guest artist at Ball State University, lighting their production of The Drowsy Chaperone, co-directed by Sutton Foster and Bill Jenkins.  Abby earned her MFA in Lighting Design at Indiana University and is thrilled to be teaching the next generation of designers at PACE University.
