Susan Knight

Script Analysis- BFA Acting

Susan Knight is an actress, director and Adjunct Professor of Acting and Play Script Analysis at Pace University. She received her MFA in Acting from the Yale School of Drama and her BFA from the University of Illinois. She has worked as an actress at many Off-Broadway theatres, including The Public Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop, Playwrights’ Horizons and Lincoln Center. Her many regional appearances include The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, South Coast Rep, Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Portland Stage, Cleveland Playhouse and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. For her work in Reckless at Hartford Stage she received the Best Actress Award by the CT Critics Circle. Susan worked at the O’Neill National Playwright’s Conference for 10 seasons. Film and television work includes: Not Fade Away, Law and Order, Law and Order-SVU, Fringe, The Onion, Ed, as well as numerous national commercials. As well as teaching at Pace, Susan also teaches at Montclair State University where she recently directed The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later.
